Customers love the color of this nail polish and find it to be a money saver compared to gels. The polish lasts a long time without chipping. However, some customers report that it chips after a few days.
I got introduced to this brand at a spa, and after my manicure lasted perfectly for over a week, I knew I needed to have this in my nail arsenal. It's amazing because you don't need a base coat! Since I had experience with their topcoat that goes with the polish Creative Nail Design Vinylux Nail Lacquer, Weekly Top Coat, 0.5 Fluid Ounce, I bought that too and got the full week long manicure effect. It's worth it buying that too, at least for me, since it's cheaper than the topcoat I was already using. Anyway, this nail polish really lasts as long as they say and the colors are rich and beautiful! I get so many compliments when I do my nails, I love telling people How I did they myself. They always think I just came from the salon.
I love the color, and I bought it to match a gel color I have. I prefer to use gel polish on my nails and regular polish on my toes because removing gel polish myself is much more difficult on my feet. This polish chipped just as fast as any drug store polish would.
I bought a few of the Vinylux nail polishes and top coat after a friend of mine raved about them on Facebook. Let me tell you, not a fan. I don't know if the polishes I got were old, or what, but they go on kind of thick and goopy, no matter how thin you try to get it, and I am used to doing thin, I also do gel nails on myself. And then when you put the topcoat on, it looks even goopier and bubbly. And to top all that off, it only lasts a day on me before chipping. So sorry I wasted all that money!
I've been using CD Vinylux for several years now, and other than Gel nail polishes, Vinylux stays the longest, without any chips. However, this has only been true for me with darker colors. Any nude, lighter color have chipped quickly and don't look fresh as long. The average time for darker colors has been at least two weeks, and I've only had to remove it because my nail beds start to show. My previous manicurist had recommended this line to me, and shortly after I tried it she told me that she didn't like it anymore because it didn't last long. I believe that her other clients were having the same problem with the lighter colors than I did. I try to keep my nail polish on for at least two weeks, and I have my own bottles of nail polish to touch my nails should I get chips--but with Vinyllux I have to do it very seldom if at all. My favorite dark color is Scarlet Letter and in the light colors is Lavishly Loved. I like this brand much better than OPI, and both the polish and manicure are much cheaper than using gels.
I thought CND had such lovely colors and the price was more affordable than OPI. It's not worth the savings if I have to polish more frequently, because CND polish chips off within two days. I found this to be true of all three colors that I purchased. I've decided to return to OPI.
Lo smalto è molto liquidò, quindi bisogna stare attenti a mettertene poco e fare due passate altrimenti non si asciuga. È opaco, quindi. Necessario il top. A me dura tre giorni
